The main objective of Herschel Extragalactic Legacy Project (HELP). Spectral energy distribution fitting, the influence of the attenuation laws for main parameters and dust luminosity predictions.

HELP’s primary objective is to provide a rich new data set characterising the physical properties of hundreds of thousands of distant galaxies. My task in this project is to find a new, statistical method to check the quality of the SED fitting of varied types of galaxies. I am going to introduce a new approach which can give more precise information about the quality of the modelled SED. The analysis can also be used as a tool to select specific objects like for example possible lensed galaxies. I will also show what the influence of used dust attenuation models for main physical parameters like stellar mass. I am going to present the method based on the ~60 000 galaxies observed in COSMOS and ELAIS N1 fields.
