Plasma Materials Interactions & Diagnostics workshop

NOMATEN hosts a Workshop on Plasma Materials Interactions and Diagnostics from May 21-23, 2024. This hybrid event offers in-person and virtual participation options, aiming to bridge scientific collaborations between Poland and the EU. We are honored to feature Dr. Marcin Jakubowski from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics, Dr. Andrea Sand from Aalto University, Dr. Christoph Ortiz from CIEMAT, and Dr. Paweł Gąsior from IFPiLM as a distinguished keynote speakers.

The workshop covers diverse topics, spanning numerical simulations to experimental exploration, all pertinent to fusion, plasma diagnostics, and materials science. Conducted in English, the workshop ensures accessibility to a global audience.

Attendees will glean insights into international materials science research through presentations from renowned researchers, followed by interactive Q&A sessions. Networking opportunities abound, fostering connections and potential collaborations.

Selected presentations may lead to journal paper submissions for a special issue in Plasma Physics and Controlled Fusion (IOP).
