Astrophysics Lab research topics:

• search for optical transient sources (the Pi of the Sky project http://www.pi.fuw.edu.pl/) and sources of gravitational waves (the POLGRAW project https://polgraw.camk.edu.pl/pl/).
• extragalactic astrophysics and observational cosmology: evolution of galaxies, large scale structure of the Universe (projects: VIPERS http://vipers.inaf.it/, VUDS http://cesam.lam.fr/vuds/, current and planned satellite projects)
• physics of neutron stars and white dwarfs

Cosmic Ray Physics Lab research topics:

• experimental research and modelling of Extensive Air Showers (EAS)
• asymptotic properties of hadron interactions as concluded from EAS development analysis
• mass components of cosmic rays within the 10¹⁵ - 10¹⁷ eV energy range
• intensity of secondary muons from cosmic rays observed in underground lab telescopes

The Lab participates in the POLAR http://www.isdc.unige.ch/polar/ and JEM-EUSO http://jemeuso.riken.jp/en/ projects.
