Web applications programmer

NCBJ Department of Complex Systems (DUZ) is inviting computer science specialists to apply for a job in one of the largest computer clusters in Poland. Job responsibilities include development of modern Web applications and API in­ter­faces that would allow users to conveniently access cluster resources. Large computing power and modern programmer’s interface are starting points to novel services to be offered by staff of the cluster. Required features of the applications include low failure rate, high security, and solution innovativeness. 

The cluster is located in Świerk. NCBJ offers free-of-charge bus transport from Warsaw, Otwock, and Garwolin.

Detailed requirements:

  • good knowledge of Python
  • good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Ja­vaScript
  • professional experience with Linux operating systems
  • knowledge of SQL
  • familiarity with the wi­ki sys­tem of documenting the developed software
  • conscientiousness, involvement, work organization skills.

Professional experience with the following tools will be an additional asset:

  • code repositories (e.g. GIT, SVN)
  • No­de.js/An­gu­lar environments
  • Djan­go environment
  • Doc­ker containers
  • An­si­ble/Pup­pet orchestration tools.
