NCBJ opens up a competition for the position of Visiting Professor in its Theoretical Physics Division (BP2). The position is available in Warszawa. All persons that meet requirements specified in art. 43 of the Act on Research Institutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U. 96, pos. 618 with later amendments) are eligible. In particlular the requirements include:
- proven record of research in cosmology, elementary particle physics, and nuclear physics
- ability to open up new research directions, in particular interdisciplinary research covering various areas in physics and related sciences
- experience in gaining funds for research/other statutory activities of the reseasrch institute (grants, structural projects)
- experience in managing research teams and/or other large teams
- involvement in nuclear power field, in particular in Polish Nuclear Power Programme
- significant scientific output (publications in Philadelphia list scientific journals, high citation index, lectures on scientific conferences, organization of such conferences).
