Technician/mechanic

Profile of NCBJ, one of the largest research institutes in Poland where the sole in Poland nuclear research reactor is operated, includes fundamental research in nuclear physics & related sciences, research on nuclear reactors & fuel, research on safety of nuclear facilities etc. Currently NCBJ is recruiting a technician/mechanic to its Division of Nuclear Equipment (HITEC). Job location: Świerk near Otwock (30 km away downtown Warsaw).

Responsibilities

•    to operate high vacuum pumps
•    to specify technological cards for individual operations in the production processes
•    to order tooling and equipment for the current production
•    to design petty mechanical devices to streamline the production processes.

Requirements

•    secondary technical education
•    meticulousness in accomplishing the entrusted tasks
•    ability to read /draw technical drawings
•    team work skills.

Additional assets

•    familiarity with AUTODESK INVENTOR or another CAD 3D software package
•    knowledge of brazing/welding technologies.
