Project Coordinator

Profile of NCBJ, one of the largest research institutes in Poland where the sole in Poland nuclear research reactor is operated, includes fundamental research in nuclear physics & related sciences, research on nuclear reactors & fuel, research on safety of nuclear facilities etc. Currently NCBJ is recruiting college graduates for a job of project coordinator in the Świerk Science and Technology Park (PNT). Job location: Świerk near Otwock (30 km away downtown Warsaw). PNT was established in 2015 to manage flow of knowledge between universities, other R&D institutions, and commercial enterprises, to facilitate funding innovative companies and to support small and medium enterprises on preferential terms.

Responsibilities

•    to propose administrative/organizational improvements in order to improve every-day functioning of PNT
•    to keep record of documentation of PNT and of selected NCBJ projects
•    to maintain business relations with local governments, PNT partners and beneficiaries
•    to monitor and coordinate flow of documents
•    to monitor task accomplishment schedules in the on-going projects
•    to fill up on PNT behalf applications to external sources of funding (competitions, calls for proposals)
•    to participate in business meetings, to work out reports, to conduct analyses assigned to by PNT management
•    to participate in working out/analysing legal letters/contracts related to the on-going projects (in cooperation with PNT Legal Department staff).

Requirements

•    college graduate, preferentially in mathematics/sciences or technical
•    fluency in English (single-handedly run international correspondence, business meetings)
•    ability to undertake dynamic actions and to single-handedly solve problems
•    team-work skills
•    organizational skills, ability to bring own work in order, good management of the emerging priorities.
