Location: Pasteura 7, 02-093 Warsaw
Scientific discipline: physics
The candidate is expected to have the habilitation degree and a documented recent expertise in experimental high energy physics, experience in working in large international collaborations, preferably at the LHC experiments.
Description of tasks:
Within the structures of the High Energy Physics Division the candidate will conduct research in the field of experimental particle physics at high energies. Ultimately the candidate is expected to strengthen one of the research groups existing in BP3 and working at LHC experiment and take a leading role in it.
The candidate is expected to have:
- significant scientific expertise, documented by publications, in the field of particle physics at high energies with particular emphasis on publications published by accelerator experiments at highest energies;
- experience in international collaborations;
- experience in obtaining research grants in open competitions; experience in leading research projects, confirmed by the running of grants as principal investigator;
- excellent spoken and written English skills;
- documented employment or internships in foreign universities or research institutes, documented presentations at international scientific conferences.
