Postdoc position in particle physics phenomenology
2021.01.15 8:06 - Anna SawińskaThe Theoretical Physics Division at the National Centre for Nuclear Research, Warsaw, invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in particle physics phenomenology.
The position is for 1 year, starting 1 September 2021. The successful candidate will be hired under a full-time employment contract with a net salary of about 1400 EUR/month (net).
The post-doctoral researcher will be expected to work on the theoretical aspects of the Joint Research Activity "Fixed Target Experiments at the LHC" funded by the European Research Infrastructure program STRONG-2020, in collaboration with consortium members with possible scientific stays at e.g. Paris-Saclay U. and CERN (http://www.strong-2020.eu/joint-research-activity/jra2-fte-lhc.html).

Requirements:
- Documented research experience in phenomenology of Quantum Chromodynamics,
- Very good knowledge of English (both oral and written),
- Familiarity with the numerical tools used in phenomenological analyses.
