NCBJ opens up a competition for a position of Assistant Professor in NCBJ Radiation Detectors Division (TJ3) located in Świerk. The successful candidate must meet requirements specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Institutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U. 96 pos. 618).
Requirements:
- PhD degree in physics
- experience in research on scintillation detectors
- experience in application of a various photo-detectors
- experience in spectroscopy of visible / UV light
- experience in research on thermo-/radio-luminescence
- ability to identify new research avenues paved by advances in scintillator physics
- skills necessary to successfully apply for funds to finance R&D works
- command of English at a level necessary to communicate verbally and to publish results of the research in international journals.
The experience should be documented by publications in recognized scientific journals and participation in research projects in the field of scintillator physics.
