Post-doc | Department of Complex Systems

The National Centre for Nuclear Research seeks to appoint for the position of post-doc at the Department of Complex Systems.

Work location: Świerk (Otwock)

Field and scope 

Structural research using the free-electron laser XFEL, located in Hamburg, Germany.
Analysis of big data sets using classical and machine-learning methods, analyses of diffrective patterns in order to investigate structrures of molecules, macromolecules and crystals, including their dynamics. This position requires collaboration with teams from XFEL and NCBJ.

Requirements:

• PhD in science, maths, computer science or related applied field
• proficiency in computational and numerical techniques
• documented recent scientific activity
• good command of English.

Postdoc contracts are subject of formal review of scientific achievements every second year.
It is expected to gain results leading to DSc (habilitatio) in not longer than 8 years.
