The National Centre for Nuclear Research opens a competition for the position of post-doc  at the  Division of Radiation Detectors and Plasma Diagnostics based in Otwock / Świerk.

Requirements:

  • scientific activity in the field of atomic physics and methods of x-ray plasma diagnostics
  • implementation of national and European projects, in particular projects
    in the EUROfusion program

In particular, the candidate is expected to:

  • doctor's degree in the field of physics;
  • experience in conducting simulations of X-rays emitted from plasma structures
  • experience in interpreting experimental X-ray spectra of radiation emitted from plasma structures;
  • good knowledge of English in speech and writing.
