NCBJ Division of Nuclear Energy and Environmental Studies is inviting post-graduates in physics/chemistry/technical sciences to apply for a job of a physicist in the Division’s Neu­tro­n Computations/Ne­w Tech­no­lo­gies team. The job’s responsibilities include computation of physical phenomena and neutron fluxes inside cores of nuclear research and/or power reactors.

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc university degree / PhD in physics/chemistry/technical sciences
  • good command of English (preferably the C1/V2 level)
  • proficiency in using computers
  • good communication skills (public presentations in English and/or Polish)
  • familiarity with MCNP/SERPENT/SCALE/diffusion codes e.g. CITATION

Previous experience with application of techniques of neutron/physical computation of reactor cores will be an asset.
