Profile of NCBJ, one of the largest research institutes in Poland where the sole in Poland nuclear research reactor is operated, includes fundamental research in nuclear physics & related sciences, research on nuclear reactors & fuel, research on safety of nuclear facilities etc. Currently NCBJ is recruiting a microwave engineer to its Division of Nuclear Equipment (HITEC). Job location: Świerk near Otwock (30 km away downtown Warsaw).
Responsibilities
• to design waveguides and other basic microwave circuits
• to analyse microwave-related technical problems and to find out optimal solutions.
Requirements
• college education with microwave specialty
• hands-on experience with microwave techniques, in particular familiarity with methodology of measuring parameters of microwave circuits (the WFS coefficient, waveguide-load coupling factor etc.)
• microwave circuits designing skills
• good command of written and spoken English.
