Engineer | Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ

The Laboratory for Nuclear Energy and Environmental Analyses of the National Centre for Nuclear Research will employ on the basis of the contract for work an engineer with good  knowledge of the applications of finite element method in the field of structural strength applied to nuclear reactor.

The aim is to perform calculations for structural analysis on computing cluster using CalculiX package for the needs of the NARSIS project: "New Approach to Reactor Safety ImprovementS", Grant Agreement: 755439.

Subject of the work:

• Structural analysis of selected systems of nuclear reactor related to the occurence of extreme natural hazards.

The work will be supervised by dr Sławomir Potempski in the Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ.

Date of work execution: 30.09.2020
Documents required:

• CV, including information about experiences related to the subject of the work, in particular performed structural analyses and knowledge of relevant software

Area of activities Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ:

• Risk analyses related to nuclear and chemical installations, transportation of dangerous substances by road, rail, water or industrial pipelines.
