Profile of NCBJ, one of the largest research institutes in Poland where the sole in Poland nuclear research reactor is operated, includes fundamental research in nuclear physics & related sciences, research on nuclear reactors & fuel, research on safety of nuclear facilities etc. Currently NCBJ is recruiting an electronics/electrical engineer to its Division of Nuclear Equipment (HITEC). Job location: Świerk near Otwock (30 km away downtown Warsaw).
Responsibilities
• to design electronics circuits
• to program PLC microcontrollers
• to work out technical documentation.
Requirements
• college education in / last year student of electronics/electrical engineering or some related field
• familiarity with analogue circuits, in particular with HV control circuits
• familiarity with digital circuits
• knowledge of principles of working out technical documentation
• command of English (to read technical documentation/standards and to write technical documentation)
• familiarity with principles of grounding power systems used in medical operation rooms.
Additional assets
• SIEMENS PLCs programming skills
• familiarity with low-noise circuitry for nuclear/medical applications
• familiarity with electronic circuits designed for harsh environments (strong magnetic fields, ionising radiation).
