Automation Engineer

Profile of NCBJ, one of the largest research institutes in Poland where the sole in Poland nuclear research reactor is operated, includes fundamental research in nuclear physics & related sciences, research on nuclear reactors & fuel, research on safety of nuclear facilities etc. Currently NCBJ is recruiting an automation engineer to its Division of Nuclear Equipment (HITEC). Job location: Świerk near Otwock (30 km away downtown Warsaw).

Responsibilities

•    to design mechanical systems, in particular movable assemblies of medical/industrial accelerators
•    to work out technical documentation.

Requirements

•    familiarity with PLC-based/SCADA control systems
•    familiarity with Ethernet networks
•    familiarity with electric drive technologies (electric motors, servomotors, inverters, VSD circuits)

Additional assets

•    ability to read technical documentation
•    good command of English (to read technical documentation/standards and to work out technical documentation).
