Assistant professor
in Department of Nuclear Techniques & Equipment, The Particle Acceleration Physics & Technology Division (TJ1)
The Particle Acceleration Physics & Technology Division provides R&D works on: particle acceleration physics and innovative solutions in accelerator technology (accelerating structures, electron beam guidance systems), physics of interaction of ionizing radiation with matter (including nano-structures), ionizing radiation detectors for industry and medicine.
Researchers participate in development of various accelerators for research, industry, medicine, nuclear power generation, environment protection in close cooperation with NCBJ Division of Nuclear Equipment.
Localization: Świerk near Otwock - in the outskirts of Warsaw with daily transport services provide.
Requirements for the candidate:
- PhD in physics
- Experience in material research (metal alloys, glass and others) using scanning electron microscopy with X-ray microanalysis and other methods, confirmed by publications
- Experience in research grants applications
- Experience in statistical analysis
- Good knowledge of English
Additional assets:
- Experience in work with Culture Heritage facilities, including archeometry
- Historical knowledge
- Experience in isotope analyzes
