An open competition to fill a vacancy
NCBJ opens up a competition for two Assistant Professor positions in NCBJ Detector Physics Division (TJ3) located in Świerk. The successful candidate shall meet requirements specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Institutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U. 96 pos. 618).
Requirements
- PhD degree in physics
- experience in conducting measurements with the use of ionizing radiation detectors, in particular with scintillation and semiconductor detectors
- experience in work with slow/fast neutron detectors
- experience in conducting activation measurements with the use of artificial sources of radiation (linear accelerators, neutron generators)
- team work skills including ability to work in an international environment (fluent command of written and spoken English)
- documented scientific redcords (publications).
