NCBJ opens up a competition for a post of Assistant Professor in Nuclear Methods in Solid State Physics Division located in Świerk.

The successful candidate must hold PhD degree in physics with documented knowledge of physics of condensed matter, and be an experienced experimentator in X-ray diffraction research. An acquaintance with neutron reseach will be an additional asset. Detailed requirements:

  • Good practical documented knowledge of experimental methods applied in research on structural properties of materials
  • Documented output in condensed matter physics (publications)
  • Capability to work in an international environment (readiness to work abroad)
  • Team work skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Cammand of German will be an additional asset..
