NCBJ opens up a competition for a post of Assistant Professor in Complex Systems Department in Otwock/Świerk.

Field: Chemistry

The successful candidate must hold PhD degree in physics or chemistry. Research on structure and properties of radioisotope-labelled molecules will involve extensive computational modeling.  Detailed requirements:

  • theoretical knowledge and practrical know-how in computational modeling of electronic structure of molecules
  • experience in computation of electronic structure of transition metal/lanthanide/actinide complexes
  • theoretical knowledge on relativistic effects in molecular calculations
  • proficiency in using software for molecular computations (ADF, Gaussian, Dalton, DIRAC, NWChem)
  • proficiency in analysing large data sets (also using scripting languages)
  • Fortran/C programming language basic skills.
