An open competition to fill a vacancy

NCBJ opens up a competition for two Assistant Professor positions in NCBJ Detector Physics Division (TJ3) located in Świerk. The successful candidate shall meet re­qui­re­ments specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Insti­tutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U.  96 pos. 618).

Requirements

  • PhD degree in physics
  • experience in conducting measurements with the use of ionizing radiation detectors, in particular with scintillation and semiconductor detectors
  • experience in work with slow/fast neutron detectors
  • experience in conducting activation measurements with the use of artificial sources of radiation (linear accelerators, neu­tro­n generators)
  • team work skills including ability to work in an international environment (fluent command of written and spoken English)
  • do­cumented scientific redcords (publications).
