ERC Consolidator Grant call for proposals

European Research Council has announced the ERC CONSOLIDATOR GRANT call for proposals (ERC-2017-CoG). Post docs (7-12 years after PhD) from any country of the world may apply, however the institution where the grant is to be accomplished should be located in an EU country or in a country associated with the Horizon 2020 programme. Proposals’ subjects are not limited, but interdisciplinary projects characterised by a high scientific risk but potentially leading to breakthrough discoveries will be especially highly valued.

Maximum grant amount is € 2 million (for 5 years). € 575 million allocated for the call budget should make possible to finance more than 320 projects.

See http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/erc-2017-cog.html for call documents/application form.

Application submission deadline is February 9, 2017.

Interested persons are invited for individual consultations offered free of charge. Mail wieslaw.studencki@kpk.gov.pl to arrange for such a meeting.
