EuroFEL
Agreement on cooperation in development of free-electron lasers (FELs) was signed by leading European research centres (including NCBJ) in Hamburg on May 31, 2012.
Free-Electron Lasers are among the most advanced research facilities used by contemporary scientists studying complex structures of inorganic matter/living organisms and/or microscale biological/chemical processes. So far just a few such machines have been operated in the world, several others are under development.
