Officer (student) | Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHA (contract of specyfic work)

Tha Laboratory for Nuclear Energy and Environmental Analyses of the National Centre for Nuclear Research will employ on the basis of the contract of mandate a student with good  knowledge of the applications of Probabilistic Safety Assesment.
The aim is to develop fault tress for external events in PSA LVL1 and its to apply for the referential reactor according to the requirements of the NARSIS project: "New Approach to Reactor Safety Improvements”, Grant Agreement: 755439 within the Eauroatom program.  

Area of activities Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ:
Risk analyses related to nuclear and chemical installations, transportation of dangerous substances by road, rail, water or industrial pipelines.

Subject of the work:

Development of a methodology of external events for Probabilistic Safety Assesment Level 1
The work will be supervised by dr Sławomir Potempski in the Centre of Hazard Analysis MANHAZ.
Date of work execution: 31.12.2021

Requirements:

• basic knowledge of nuclear reactor technology
• good knowledge of PSA
• desirable knowledge of Saphire program
• good knwoledge of English

Documents required:

• CV, including information about experiences related to the subject of the work, in particular performed Probabilistic Safety Assesment and knowledge of relevant software
