The NCBJ takes eighth place in the ranking of Polish universities
2021.04.26 14:39 - Marek PawłowskiIt’s not a mistake! The just-announced World University Ranking 2021-2022 places the NCBJ in the eighth position in the country, even though we conduct only third-degree studies. Our position was determined primarily by our high scientific results, which gave us 40% of the points in the ranking.
The National Centre for Nuclear Research ranks among the top 4.5% of 19,788 universities worldwide, according to the Global 2000 List by the Center for World University Rankings 2020-2022, released today on the official website cwur.org.
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) announces the largest academic rankings of the world’s universities. The rankings are unique:
* Objective indicators are used for all four key pillars underlying the ranking methodology (quality of education, employment of graduates, faculty quality, and research results) excluding the surveys and university data submitted.
* There is an equal emphasis on the learning and research environment.
* 19 788 universities are rated according to their academic performance.
The ranking was prepared for universities, therefore 60% of the evaluation components concern the quality of education, building graduate careers, and the quality of academic staff. Only 40% of points are given for research accomplishment. The NCBJ, which offers and conducts only third-degree studies, owes its high position in the ranking primarily to its significant scientific results.
We are extremely proud and congratulate all our researchers on this result!
