An open competition to fill a vacancy
NCBJ opens up a competition for a position of Assistant Professor in material science in NCBJ Materials Testing Lab (LBM) located in Świerk.
The successful candidate must have documented knowledge of experimental methods of testing properties of solids, be skilled in structural / corrosion tests, and hold PhD degree in chemistry/physics/material science. Experience in research compatible with accreditation requirements would be an asset.
Requirements:
- experience in practical development of experimental techniques (corrosion/structure/fatigue tests)
- publications in material science, chemistry or physics
- good, documented, practical knowledge of experimental techniques used in structural/corrosion tests
- team-work skills
- readiness to participate in projects accomplished abroad
- good command of written and spoken English.
