Analysis of light curves of the GX 1+4 symbiotic system

Abstract: 

Results of analysis of X-ray/optical light-curves emitted by the GX 1+4 neutron star/red giant symbiotic binary system will be presented. The emitted light brightens quasi-periodically with a period somewhere between several days and a few hundred days. Nature of that pulsation has not yet been clarified. The to-be-presented results have shed some light on that issue.
