Competition for two positions of Assistant Professor (physics, theoretical physics)

NCBJ opens up a competition for two Asistant Professor positions in Pure Research Department for post-docs (location:Warsaw). Each of the posistion is offered for 2 years with a possibility of renewal. All persons who meet requirements specified in par. 43 of Act on Research Insti­tutes passed on April 30, 2010 (Dz.U.  96 pos. 618) may apply.

Monthly remuneration 7080 PLN (gross).

Detailed requirements:

• PhD in physics
• documented knowledge of theory of elementary particles (publications in the field)
• teamwork skills and ability to work in an international environment
• good command of written and spoken English
• skills in numerical computational methods (e.g. FORTRAN)and knwoledge of UNIX systems.

The successful candidate must hold his/her PhD degree not more than 7 years before start of the employment, not counting any period of maternity/fraternity/parental or maternity/fraternity/parental-equivalent leave granted according to the labour code regulations and/or any period when a sickness/rehabilitation benefit was received.
