NCBJ opens up a competition for a position of Assistant Professor in Physics (experimental physics) in NCBJ Nuclear Methods in Solid State Physics Division (FM1) located in Świerk.

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in physics
  • documented knowledge of experimental condensed matter physics (publications in the field)
  • practical knowledge of experimental techniques applied in research on structural properties of materials (in particular knowledge of X-ray/ neutron diffraction techniques will be an asset)
  • ability to work in an international environment
  • team-work abilities
  • readiness to participate in projects accomplished abroad
  • good command of English
  • command of German will be an asset
