A Working Meeting Of The WG9 Group Of The EURADOS Research Network
A working meeting of one of the EURADOS research network took place on 24-25th of August 2017 at the Institute of Radiation Protection of Helmholtz Zentrum in Monachium, Germany. The meeting was attended by members of WG9 working group, whose field of interest is dosimetry in radiotherapy.
About 20 scientists from different parts of Europe came to the working meeting to present their current achievements. Their research results and future plans were presented on the first day. The second day was a time for guest presentations. The author of one of them was engineer Edyta Michaś from the National Center for Nuclear Research in Świerk. The topic of the presentation was a pre-clinical research stand, which is being developed at the National Center for Nuclear Research and dedicated to the renaissance of the Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT). During the speech, the subject of the international scientific Neobor platform, which brings together scientists from different fields of science and from different parts of the world, was also raised.
